Comet 2026.02 rev. 0 is now available.

This v2026.02 rev. 0 version was primarily created to tag a release for the real-time search (RTS).  There were a number of code optimizations to improve performance but the biggest is finally adding multi-thread support to allow concurrent RTS searches through a single CometSearchManagerWrapper instance via CometWrapper.dll.

Some updated RTS performance numbers for human phospho and human MHC/HLA searches are documented here.  The average search times per query and required memory are documented on that page.

For standard Comet users, there's no compelling reason to update to this version.
