Dear all,

I am wondering if there is a possibility of converting the MGF file to either RAW or mzML file format and if there is any danger in doing this. Will it compromise the quality of my data?

Not possible to convert into vendor native raw formats.  Going from mgf to mzML is fine though ... no data loss issues to worry about (if you're using a functional converter).

Hi Jimmy,

I am using MSconvert to convert the MGF file to mzML and it is working fine. I was worried about the data loss.

Thanks for clarifying this to me.
