Hi foks,
are Advantech PCIe  Digital IO Cards already supported by some CoMeDI version?

We have a board with 3  PCIe 1762H relay cards but CoMeDI does not seem to support them.  I also have a PCIe 1730 on the shelf which isn't recognized.

The older PCI 1730 is driven by  adv_pci_dio.c  ( I added interrupt support some time ago)
and the  PCI 1762 (which I don't have ) is also mentioned in adv_pci_dio.c.

But the PCIe 1762H has the Device_ID  0x0072   instead of 0x1762.
And the PCIe 1730 has the Device_ID  0xe730   instead of 0x1730.

Has anyone started writing CoMeDI drivers for the newer Hardware?

Ciao, Bernd

Hi,

I would like to second this. I have to options in the lab, either use Sensoray 626 or 826. Unfortunately, Comedi is only supporting 626 which is an obsolete card.

I would love to see wider hardware support in Comedi. Are there any attempts that I am missing for introducing newer hardware?

Best wishes,
Ozan
