That's insanely high. We only use between 400 (Winter) and 900 (Summer) kWh. And I'm home all day with the kids.

So the last two months I've had bills right around $300 where my average has been about $180. Has something drastically changed?
Useage for the month was 2980 kWh in a 15 year old 3000 sq ft home. Does this seem like an average consumption or high?
