CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The Regional Center for Social Science and Sustainable Development (RCSD)
at Chiang Mai University is now accepting new applications for the
"Understanding Myanmar's Development" research fellowship program. The
*extended deadline* for applications is 15 July 2014.
These fellowships support researchers from Myanmar (Burma) to conduct
year-long research projects on specific topics related to development.
There are four general areas:
* social and economic development;
* agrarian transformation, environment and climate change;
* health and health care systems;
* media and society
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and be Myanmar citizen.

Dear respected iPACE Program Advisory Board members,
Greetings from iPACE - the Institute for Political and Civic Engagement and
hope this note finds you well. We would like to take this opportunity to
share you update news about iPACE.
The Institute for Political and Civic Engagement (iPACE) is pleased to
release student applications for Term Three 2014. iPACE will be accepting
applications from interested participants until July 6, 2014.
Term Three will include courses in: Conflict Transformation, English for
Special Purposes, Pluralism & Citizenship, Training of Trainer (ToT) for
Civic Educators, and Voter Education.
Please feel free to share this information among your networks who you
think might be interested.
