Dear biologists interested in modeling,
The 25th in-person Annual Workshop on Computational Cell Biology will take place
July 22-24, 2024 at the Center for Cell Analysis and Modeling at UConn Health (Farmington, CT). The course will begin with introductory lessons on
modeling techniques (ODE, PDE, stochastic, spatial stochastic, agent- and rule-based modeling) using
VCell (http://vcell.org/),
COPASI (http://copasi.org/)
and SpringSalad (https://vcell.org/ssalad).
The remaining time will consist of continuous interactive hands-on sessions using software to design your models and perform simulations.
There is no registration fee, but to be admitted please email the following information to Dr. Michael Blinov
bli...@uchc.edu by
May 31: your name, institution, lab head (if you are a student), and 1-2 page proposal explaining how you feel VCell, COPASI and/or SpringSalad will help your research project. This info will allow us to determine if the current implementations of
the VCell and COPASI apply to your project.
More info is in the attached flyer - please spread the word! There is no registration fee, all meals, and a discounted hotel rate will be provided. Contact us to enquire about limited travel funds available to promote diversity.
Best regards,
Michael
