Kabanize,

I am working on migrating content from Trello to Kanbanize (needed metrics and swimlanes) and am struggling with the fact that I cannot just create a task at a specfic spot.

Maybe I am doing it wrong but currently when I do create task it always creates it at the end of the column I am in even if I click in between two tasks and say create here.

If I am doing it wrong I would love to know and if this is just a limitation then it would be great to have this feature implemented (though group moving of tasks does help alleviate this problem's impact dramatically).

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your feedback first!

Do you mean - creating a task at a specific sport (i.e. column, row, cell) which is controlled by the Board Settings or positioning a task with a certain way of sorting within a column?

What I mean is that if I am in a column and then right click in between the bottom of one card and the top of another card, and select create task, the task is created at the bottom of the cards in the column instead of in the position where I right clicked and selected create task.

PS, sorry for the delayed response.

Hi Chris,

Such functionality is currently not existing in our system. You need to manually move the cards within the column for the time being.
We have entered your request in our Backlog though, thanks!

Peter,
One of your posts on this thread seems to imply there might be a sorting order that can be applied to a column's content.  Is this true?  If so, please elaborate.
