My manager setup his own free account to play with the tool.  I am using a paid account.  I have setup  several boards I want to share with him.  I used the "invite users" link and gave his email address.  He accepted the invitation, and was asked for an email and password.  The one he has from his own account doesn't work.

What is the user suppose to enter at the login screen?

Hi,

The Free version and the Premium versions reside on separate server clusters, so they do not communicate to each other by any means.
So if you invite someone to your Premium version and you have 5 user seats, the one who was invited will take one of these 5 user seats.

When invited - you enter your credentials for the Premium version, it has nothing to do with the Free version ones :)

Regards,
Kanbanize Team

I used the invite users link. The user claimed he clicked on the link and was presented with a login screen. He did not receive the option to create an account for the premium system. Should a "create new account" option be present? Did he overlook something?

Hi,

There are several reasons for this to happen on the user side, but we need to investigate further if he/she provides us with details.

The easiest way is indeed to use "create new user" option (next to invite button). You as an admin can delete the user in question from the Administration board (he/she hasn't logged into Kanbanize anyway) and then create a new user and send him/her the credentials.

Thanks,

I did that and it worked fine.  Lesson learned is to create their account and send them the credentials prior to inviting them so they know what to enter.
