I am confused on how tags work.  In other applications I use (such as SharePoint, gmail) multiple tags are allowed for each item.  Is this available for a task?  If so, how do we separate the tags?  How do you filter for a specific combination of tags?

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

You can separate tags with a comma in each kanbanize card.
You can search by is logic and contains logic, but for not for a combination of tags.

If you'd like to designate more custom properties of a card, I'd suggest using our custom fields feature.

I wanted to use custom fields but was surprised there was no way to filter in them when using the board filter. Is there another way to filter using custom fields while viewing and manipulating the board?

I entered multiple tags on several of the task cards and was able to add the Tags attribute to the Search filter.  By entering multiple occurences of the "Tags" attribute to the search I was able to search on a combination of tags.  This works great, but appears to only be available when using the search filter.  I need to do the equivalent using the board filter.  I can get the board filter to work, but only for one tag at a time.

It would be nice if one of the options on the board filter was to use a saved search filter.  This way we could build complex searches/filters using the search screen, save it, and then load it into the board filter and have it applied. This would greatly facilitate management of the board.  On my most detailed board I have a large number of task cards and many teams using the same board.  They need a quick way to zoom in on various subsets of the data quickly.  This would meet that need.
