I have ran into an issue where verified app links do not trigger a redirect to our app on Android 12. All of the previous Android versions work just fine. Changes that have been made to web intents in Android 12 are addressed in our app and we have verified our domain with assetlinks.json. All other browsers that can handle deep linking work just fine as well. Are there any known issues regarding app links with Samsung Internet 17.0.1.69 on Android 12?

Samsung needs to work VERY HARD to get this fixed rapidly or provide us with a reasonable work-around. This is ruining the experience for a LOT of applications, including some that are in the top ten lists.

Facing issue in deep linking in react native on Android 13 Samsung device. Its working perfectly on other manufacturers android 13 devices. I saw that supported web link option is false by default only in samsung devices android 13.

All calls to the hotlines either ended with the recommendation to reset the phone to factory settings or simply claimed that the camera was defective. I reset to factory settings and put up with all the problems with the data backup, but the camera still doesn't work. The last option would be to reset to android 13, but that's a never-ending story and a real pain. Your email is proof that the problem lies in the software and not in the hardware! So I hope to find other victims of this software to put pressure on samsung to fix this bug.

I have just spoken to the hotline and they have now admitted that it is a software error. The technical team is already working on fixing it. I hope to get an update in the next few days. I have left my e-mail address and telephone number.
So together we hope for a quick solution to the problem.

@cliff-g: I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment. The Galaxy Tab S2 launched in 2015 on Android 5.0.1, and can be updated to Android 7, but there are no plans for further Android versions to made available for this model. I understand that this isn't ideal, however typically our phones and tablets will receive software updates for around 2 years from the release date.

Agreed, what gooid is it if it is 2-3 years old, still has good battery life and still would work fine if the OS could be updated for 4-5 years? Basically samsung is saying that you need to spend $1000+ on their device every 2 -3 years if you want it to work with today's apps. Remember to choose the more costly approach. You should buy a newly released device, not last years model, when it first comes out because the clock is already ticking on the OS. I do like my tab but really? Only two years? How about charging me $50 a year for the next 5 years to keep it current? I'd pay that.

In fact i tried this, located (with a bit of difficulty) the pdf on disk (it has a hashed not-recognizable name),
opened in Xodo, annotated. The paperpile android app did not see the changes, maybe because it was not looking for unexpected changes from another program. But could it?

However, on Google drive what I see is that all the previously made annotations do exist, and only the most recent one (the one followed by the home-button click) is missing. So the problem is both that it is not saving annotations sometimes, but also in some other cases it does not display annotations that exist on drive.

They problem is somewhat random so this is not a definitive test, but it makes me wonder: is the problem specific to samsung tablets? All the people who have mentioned a tablet type (including a comment in the play store) have said Samsung.

Now I have the impression that: the annotation are always saved, just not visible sometimes, and just re-opening the particular pdf usually makes them reappear (or disappear sometimes!)
I also left the same pdf opened in the web version of paperpile, and saw the annotations being added almost immediately.

I have also tried other android tablets: a chromebook (not an android tablet, but I installed the android app), and an Onyx ebook reader. On these the problem -seems- to happen much less, but annotations still disappear (and sometimes reappear).

Hello,
I have problems working with android device samsung galaxy active 2 (Android 9 Version T395UBSCCUI2) and Field map (version 22.1.1).
When I apply the Field map update on the tablet and go to run the fieldmap program, it closes and does not work.
In other cases it does not synchronize and/or does not let take data.
Is there a problem with the certificate?
I appreciate your help

Previous versions worked fine, until the last version generated problems.
The problem occurs on Samsung Active 2, Samsung Active 3 does not have this problem.
We took some Active 2 tablets without app update and tested, everything works perfectly.
When applying the update, it stops working.
We went back to the previous version of the app and removed the automatic update option.
We are now waiting for a new update....
I understand that Android and IOs are the future, but it's a pity that Android as an operating system is so volatile...you fix one thing and another one fails.

Interesting what you mention @JustinCrowther with the authentication, we had had problems with the certificates, it gave us authentication errors.
To solve it we had to install the esri certificates on the tablet directly and we solved it.
This time, as a test, I also downloaded the certificate and re-installed it, but it did not improve.

Was having the same issues for the past two weeks. I saw Samsung finally had an update available that I installed today.
Version: T397UUESBCUK1/T397UOYMBCUK1/T397UUESBCUK1
Is what I am now running. It did initially crash the tablet but uninstalling field maps and reinstalling did help me. It also helped for me to disconnect from my WiFi but I believe it was a separate issue that had to do with network protections etc. when logging in.

I am having problems using sketch on a Samsung S6 Lite tablet.

I can use sketch with my finger and it works correctly, but if I use the s-pen it immediately locks the sketch tool and does not work with either finger or pen, it only allows me to exit the sketch option and I can open it immediately. The problem is when I use the pencil.

I have tried removing features from the s-pen in case that is what creates a conflict, but it hasn't changed the results.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

There are 2 other recent threads here reporting much the same thing, so you're not alone. Just tried this on my S22 Ultra, and it worked. I'm on Evernote v. 10.50.4--what version do you have? Other threads: Samsung S23 Ultra S Pen not working with Sketch; Problem writing with stylus on Samsung TAB S7 on Android 13.
