Hot Pink Delorean are, quite simply, going to be the biggest thing to come out of the USA since the Quarter Pounder with cheese (Or Grand Royale to those in Europe). They make music for dancefloors, skillfully crossing genres to create a hybrid sound that has got the likes of Carl Cox, Benny Benassi, Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki, Digitalism and Kissy Sell Out supporting their releases. Kissy Sell out has recently signed them to his wicked San City High Label, alongside a release on the awesome Dim Mak label and a full release schedule on HPD's own HPDMC label.
As DJs you can put them into the same bracket as Kissy Sellout and Annie Mac. They play electro, tech house, house, prog, dubstep, dnb and anything inbetween depending on what is making the crowd move. HPD's performances consist of Chris and/or Matt behind the desk, while rapper / MC, Jon fronts the outfit. They can be filed under many undefined genres. Call them indie dance, electro, or plain old partyrockin' house music, but whatever you call them, one thing is guaranteed. They will blow your roof off!

Terravita is probably best known as the drum & bass alter ego of electro power house Hot Pink Delorean, but the trio of Chris Barlow, Matt Simmers and Jon Spero were making DnB for years before trying their hands at house music. The group was first picked up in 2006 by Maldini & Vegas's Bad Taste Recordings, releasing 4 tunes with them on their Bad Taste 2 LP. Shortly thereafter Simon Bassline Smith signed the group to a deal with his Technique Recordings label. Terravita released 4 singles with Technique before parting ways including the jump up hit "Adult Robot Kung Fu". Since parting ways with Technique, Terravita has released several tunes with Subsonik Sound as well as a remix of AK1200's rave anthem "Drowning" that hit #4 on the Beatport Drum & Bass Charts. in November of 2010, Terravita released "Up In the Club" on Beta Recordings, which hit #4 on the Dubstep charts and #94 on the Overall charts on Beatport.Terravita has more Beta releases lined up as well as a 4 track EP for Rottun forthcoming.

There's the "old skool" rockstars. They've been around, they know all the acts, they know all the players, they know the spots, the sites... they follow their favorite djs on twitter and subscribe to podcasts, and are picky about where they go because a lot of them found a niche inside a genre...

Since 1995 Columns of Knowledge has been rocking parties and clubs with our signature series of events that combine many audiences and shakes the party up with our own unique over the top vibe and variety pack lineups. With over 15 years of industry experience and passion, we are proud and honored to be back doing some events in 2011.
Rockstars will be a new series of events to celebrate nightlife and talent and support well known and lesser known. We are all rockstars in our own minds. Whether it is dressing in costume to hit a club, to dancing to our favorite dj or live act, to gathering with our friends to celebrate life, to introducing a first timer to a music culture unlike anything the commercial world will ever fully comprehend.
We will be transforming Club Therapy in Providence into a night of pure raw energy on July 8th!

There are lots of different types of rockstars out there...
There are the new jacks, the groupies, the fans, the friends, the high fives and the hyped up raw energy which makes concerts and clubs jump off... It's what we live for and what makes life rage out!
There's the "old skool" rockstars. They've been around, they know all the acts, they know all the players, they know the spots, the sites... they follow their favorite djs on twitter and subscribe to podcasts, and are picky about where they go because a lot of them found a niche inside a genre...

Since 1995 Columns of Knowledge has been rocking parties and clubs with our signature series of events that combine many audiences and shakes the party up with our own unique over the top vibe and variety pack lineups. With over 15 years of industry experience and passion, we are proud and honored to be back doing some events in 2011.
Rockstars will be a new series of events to celebrate nightlife and talent and support well known and lesser known. We are all rockstars in our own minds. Whether it is dressing in costume to hit a club, to dancing to our favorite dj or live act, to gathering with our friends to celebrate life, to introducing a first timer to a music culture unlike anything the commercial world will ever fully comprehend.
We will be transforming Club Therapy in Providence into a night of pure raw energy on July 8th!
