been catching the eyes and ears of artists such as Reid Speed, Reso, Mark Instinct,

The Man, The Myth, the legend... That is DJ Frankie Bones. He is best known for bringing the rave culture to the United States after playing at a hangar party in the UK during 1989. Frankie Bones, the first American DJ to play these raves, is considered to be 'The Godfather of American Rave Culture'. He got his first inspiration from his father's vast record collection after his father was murdered. Later on, after he had begun producing records, he was offered a gig to play for 5,000 people in England called "Energy" on the strength of his compositions. As the event started on August 26, 1989, the projected attendance had gone through the roof and Frankie played to 25,000 people while the sun came up. At this event, a fight broke out and Frankie got on a speaker, screaming at the fighters, "If you don't start showing some peace, love, and unity, I'll break your fucking faces". With the subsequent discussion of this event on the Usenet newsgroup alt.rave, Respect was added to the three virtues Frankie was speaking of, creating the hippie-esque raver credo of PLUR: Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect. Being profoundly moved by the experience, he brought it back to Brooklyn in the form of his series of Storm Raves. The Storm Raves events began with only a few hundred people in attendance growing to over 5,000 where the likes of Josh Wink, Doc Martin, Sven Vath, DJ Keoki and Richie Hawtin were able to launch their performances into international careers. The Berlin Love Parade, which is generally considered to be the largest rave in the world, named its 1991 and 1992 Parades after well-known compositions by Frankie Bones.

Dave has been playing the rave circuit since the early 90's. This
veteran has gained notoriety with his superb track selection and his
award winning scratching skills. He has produced over 71 underground
mixtapes and CDs.His scratching skills have earned him 2nd place
finishes 1994 NE Spin-off, 1st place in the 1997 Providence DJ Battle,
and two 2nd place finishes at the Winter Music Conference DJ
Competitions in 1998 and 1999. He was also voted 1999 DJ of the
Year by the Providence Phoenix People's Choice awards. His specialty
is hard house, ghetto booty house, and his own style and label:
"retro-tech", a modern version of old school techno breakbeat and
jungle. Venom started Volume in 94. Few put on a performance quite
like Venom.
He continues to break barriers, producing and playing tracks that add
a new dimension to the music scene.



DJ Odi (Digital Konfusion, Konkrete Jungle, NYC)

Odi, is in great part responsible for the entire style of jungle music
in NYC. Bronx-born, Harlem-raised Odi entered the scene in the early
90s and gave it his kind of direction. “I grew up around 125th street,
the home of hip hop. So it was natural to be an aggressive DJ, putting
in the hip hop elements. It’s what I know.” His break came around
after high school, when running promotions for the famous NASA rave
parties at Club Shelter grew into a steady DJing slot.

For over a decade, Empress has been smashing clubs worldwide. This native New Yorker has toured all over Europe and Asia many times & has also played almost every major city in North America,
including all over Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico. She was also the First DNB DJ ever brought to Macedonia & Tahiti.
DJ Residencies (past & present) include-- Testpress Sundays (NYC), Konkrete Jungle (NYC), Ignite (NYC), Eklektic (San Francisco), Hostel (London) & was a regular for over 10 years at Movement (London)
She's a world renowned DJ, Producer, Vocalist, Musician & now label owner of Empower Recordings who's devotion to music, revered sets and relentless ambition has sustained her esteemed global reputation.
She's now gone live too, performing and singing songs she's written & produced for herself based on her life experiences. Founder of Empower Recordings in 2011, fusing her favorite heavy genres of Metal & various styles of Electronica, mainly Drum & Bass, Dubstep & Electro.

John is considered one of Brooklyn's originators for the harder styles of dance for several reasons. On top of DJing and producing, Bas is also the founder of Electronic-Chaos. Beginning his career as a Hardcore DJ, he has rocked the decks and shared the stage alongside such east coast legends as Lenny Dee, Delirium, and Rob Gee. However, after a trip to Holland nine years ago, John discovered a new sound of music, that would later be named Hardstyle, and immediately fell in love. John knew instantly that he wanted to deliver this new sound to the masses here in America, and while he is extremely humble, John is considered by many to be one of the best, and one of the first, DJs to play Hardstyle here in the United States. John is also one of the first Hardstyle artists on Beatport to release his tracks for download. Tracks like "Feel It", "Take Me To The Top", "Locked Inside Your Mind", and "Kick In The Bass". With production hits like that to his credit and his superb track selection, it's no wonder why Bas is one of Brooklyn's favorites.
