Join your neighbors to help in clean-up and plantings at the Columbus Square Park this Saturday, May 12 from 10 am to 2 pm as part of the city-wide Love Your Park. Meet at the corner of 13th and Reed streets to sign in and get your assignments.
Plan on attending the monthly general Advisory Council meeting on Thursday, May 17th at 7 pm at the Columbus Square Park Recreation Center – 12th and Wharton streets. Councilman Mark Squilla will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the park, or city wide matters in general. Come meet your Councilman and let him know what’s on your mind and what is important to you.

It’s Spring! Schedule some fun time for your kid to play in the mud! Young artists will have fun exploring their imagination, develop creativity and gain confidence all by working with clay. Each week, children will complete one project from beginning to end. The projects will include animated cartoon figures, small plates, mini birdhouses, and a project towards the end of the session that will allow your child to create a-piece based on their own personal interests. All skill levels and abilities welcome. All supplies are included and pieces are fired at the Potteryworks Studio. Glazes and clay are food safe and lead free.
