I've been to many of the parish festivals but there are a couple that
I like more than others.
Here are my Top 5 Picks. If you can only make it to a few festivals, I
would suggest these:
1. St. Margaret of Cortona: Its a smaller festival but blackjack is
always fun--you stand at high top tables outside and the dealers are
lax about the rules; the tables are the center of the action and close
to the beer truck and the stage.
2. St. Michael: Its a big festival with a lot going on including a
large gym full of tables (more than half are blackjack); has the best
beer service at the tables.
3. St. Matthew: Its a very big festival with easy parking and a lot of
poker and blackjack; offers the latest action that I know of--the
casino games stay open an hour after the rest of the festival closes.
4. St. Pius X: Lots of tables indoors and the only festival that
offers craps.
5. St. Andrew: Its a huge festival with the most table game variations
(Texas Hold'em and other poker games, poker tournaments, and
blackjack). The parking sucks but the festival is packed with a fun
crowd.

I was going to complement Justin on his devotion, but apparently it's
all about gambling the parishes out of their hard-earned money. Aren't
you forgetting "Thou Shalt Not Gamble the Parishes Out of Their Hard-
Earned Money"? :-)
