Hey guys,

I'm wondering about the status of the usergroup? Given that the last meeting was in October, it seems to have died again?

Either way, I'd like to help with getting things rolling again. I work for Pillar Technology, and we've got a pretty cool office downtown in the Smith Bros. Building. There are some other usergroups that meet there regularly, and I think that I could probably secure some time for us to meet there if I started asking around. I wanted to ping you all before I did anything like that as I don't want to step on any toes.

If there's currently organization of future meetups going on, I'd love to be looped in and help in any way I can. Or, if there's not, I'd still like to help get things started back up.

Feel free to reach me at ecol...@pillartechnology.com - whether you're an organizer or just someone who would like to come to meetings. I'd like to see more Clojurians in Columbus!

I'll keep up on this thread, so please post here or email me with whatever you know or want to know. Let's breathe some life back into this group and get Columbus writing Clojure.

Thanks,

Eric Coleman

I'd be interested in attending still.

We had tentatively decided to hold a meeting monthly, on the fourth Monday of each month. December and January are now in the books and got away from us. We should be back on track for February and beyond.

Thanks for your interest and enthusiasm!

Great news, Josh, looking forward to hearing more. Contact me if I can help out in any way, and the offer to get us some time at the Pillar office still stands, it's an awesome space.

Additionally, while I'm thinking about it, I recently did a talk over lunch at work about Overtone, which is a sound/music library for Clojure. If you need a topic for February, or any meeting really, let me know.
