I purchase Deluxe + State.

For what it's worth, reports from the Bogleheads forum are that all
versions of HR Block software support all tax forms.
The difference is that the more complex software versions support
interview style for
the advertised, more complex tax forms.

FYI: The software states that Turbo Tax files or PDF can be imported
from last year.
It's been a long time since I last converted to this software, so I
don't really know.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the update.  I purchased the Deluxe Fed/State version a couple days ago.  

Once open I attempted to import my .T24 file from last season and received an error message stating that it was unable to read it because the file was "password protected".  The error message was strange as I don't recall H&R ever offering the ability to add a password to my tax file.   

Instead I was able import the pdf file of my TY24 taxes which worked fine to get me started on TY25.
