In the global North, February 1st is the Cross-Quarter celebration of Imbolc / Candlemas, exactly halfway between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, sacred to Brigid the Goddess, Brigid the Saint, hibernating animals, and is a national holiday of the beginning of Spring in Ireland. In addition to poems and practices, we'll share the original Dance Brigid's Mantle with movements modified for Dancing solo or seated. We'll also touch on this sacred season's traditional healing herbs and healing practices, with time for sharing at the end.
