Celebrating Spring Equinox

Arriving the day after Equinox, we are reminded that the return of the light is one constant in the flow of life. At this tumultuous time where it feels as if we are beyond the tipping point, let us awaken together into this nourishing light. We cultivate our authentic selves, polish our hearts, and dance together so that we may gather our strength to carry this light to all beings we encounter.

This year we will celebrate with a special Spring Equinox ritual before the dances.

United Church of Christ

(Two miles west of 315, just past Reed Road, north side of Henderson Rd.)

Those who are familiar with this church know it as "Just North United Church of Christ" even though the sign says "North Congregational United Church of Christ."

Park in back of building. Look for sign marking the door. Enter at main rear door under the main church sign.

Bring a friend, come and try this form of peacemaking through the arts! No previous experience required. All chants and body prayers are taught. Live musicians. IF you wish, bring a snack to share for afterwards. See special needs below.

No charge. Donations gladly accepted to pay for the room rental.

Please do not bring any snack items made with peanuts and/ or made in a kitchen or factory where peanuts have been used. Please read labels carefully for peanut warnings. There are preschoolers who use the same room as the dances who are highly allergic to peanuts. Let's carefully protect the kids. Thank you!
