The Pearl, also known as The Robe of Glory:
Embedded within the Acts of Thomas, many consider this tale to be a Gnostic/Syriac Christian Hymn about our return to the light. Some say it is an old Mesopotamian Jewish work with a Gnostic overlay. Please join me for an expanded telling of this archetypal journey of the soul.
Croda Rosa:
This is one of the oldest stories I have found from my ancestral Mother-Land in the Italian Dolomites. This past summer, I had the opportunity to visit and spend time in these magnificent old mountains, telling the stories as I walked, remembering them back into the landscape and into my own bones. To my great delight, I experienced the reality that the stories are still alive,
still able to speak, and still offering wisdom and magic to anyone
who will stop and listen.
The Veil of Mariam:
This is, among other things, a story woven of the thread of life from the motion of the ‘lowly’ drop spindle. In this story, I track the footprints of the Holy Mother’s presence in my life, and in the process, I am pushed to confront my overly human-centered gaze, which forces life herself to stay small and dead. This tale is a love letter to the Great Mother, as she has visited and appeared in my life.
All stories will be accompanied by music, with opportunities to sing and reflect.
My hope is to reach out to the magic-maker inside of us, through our own imaginations, and go on an adventure together. In this way, it isn’t so much about the details of my story, but how the story speaks to you and engages a process of inner motion, like a ritual migration to the place where magic is alive inside of you, to a place where your own story, your own intuition, beckons you to visit.
Maybe we will remember something forgotten?
Maybe we will remember something in a new way that will release a certain kind of luminosity or healing or joy?
Or maybe, we will simply receive the nourishment and ritual enlivening that happens when we stop, listen and allow ourselves the luxury of sinking into the flow of the story with the fullness of our being……

Sliding scale pricing is for all 3 stories, $45 - $150.
