Indoor Soccer

All,

We need a solid headcount of "committed" players for the upcoming indoor soccer. Commitment is defined as two months of advanced payment before a due date and physical presence on the game day (emergency absence understood). Date and amount will be communicated shortly. 

I have been trying to increase the number of regular and committed players this time. The one and only one objective of this effort is to play and enjoy soccer for an hour per week. And you go to the field every week knowing that there will be a game. 

Last year minimum number of players was set at 10. It didn't work! We had tough time to gather even 8. So, I have reached out to another group to increase the count. In this process, no one's place is guaranteed unless he's "committed" to play. Hoping to get cooperation from you all.

As I indicated in my first email, we have a partner group in this process. 6 players will join from there (work in progress). So, we can't take any more names for now. If you are still interested, we will put you in reserve.

Updates: 

Visited the facility at Busch blvd today. Max capacity determined is 9 on 9 including goalies. Partner club has submitted 6 names as part of the original deal. We will go phase by phase. For phase 1, target

start date is Oct 25 until end of Dec. Every Friday 8-9 (not confirmed yet). These are contingent on payment to the facility. No games on the Thanksgiving and Chritsmas weeks. The peak-season hourly rental is $215. Negotiation is on to get discount. Based on the responses, we may not be able to accommodate all. In that event, a reserve pool will be maintained. This is healthy for the sports. Everybody's cooperation will be highly appreciated. Expected commitment is full payment + actual presence on the game day. For prompt communications, a WA group will be created. 

This is an effort to ensure guranteed game on any of the scheduled game days. If anyone has doubt can't commit, this is the time to let us know. You may

have opinions/suggestions. Please hold on to those until details are sorted out.
