The JavaScript Usergroup is upon us right after a hearty CodeMash.  And, we have a NEW LOCATION!

This month Doug Reeder (@reeder29) will be presenting on HTML 5 Apps & Firefox OS.  For the coding exercise, we will take an existing web application (bring one or use a simple one that is provided) and "appify" it.

We are now meeting at The Forge. This is Pillar's new open workspace. They are graciously providing the place, the pizza, and the parking so be sure to give them a shout out.

Here's the schedule:

6:30pm Pizza & Pasta
7:00pm Talky Talk with Doug Reeder (@reeder29)
8:00pm Codey Code
9:00pm Drinks @ TBD (but probably Gallo's)

And, as always, you can find us on Twitter at @cbusjs and we having a mailing list, cbu...@googlegroups.com.

TTFN!

Within a 10 minute walk of The Forge we have

Betty's (probably too small)
Barley's
Knead
Jeni's Ice Cream
Press Grill

I like Gallo's and all but driving 15 minutes north for it when we've got these options within walking distance seems silly.

Is anybody coming down from the Easton / Westerville area tonight for the meeting?  My car is in the shop and I could use a ride if anybody is willing.

Let me know if you can, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Alex Moore

I'm flexible and I think we should make this decision at the latest responsible moment (i.e. at the meetup).
