The Way of Mastery Thanksgiving week November 21

Hello all,

I wanted to send an email out mentioning we are skipping this week because of Thanksgiving. There is no class this week. This can be such a warm beautiful holiday. However not so much for everyone... If you happen to "fall" into this habit and feel a little tense during the holidays. It is time to look at that... Remember you have a choice on what you want to experince. REALLY?!?! Yes!!! It is that simple, however, it does take a little work to get out of that placid path that has been created. I sent some of quotes from "The Way of Mastery" book. As you read through the quotes, make effort to remember when you are at your sister's for Thanksgiving all of a sudden you go back a few years and are ready to take her down. Stop! (print out the page if you have to) Excuse yourself and read a few lines and remember that you can make a different choice, you can come from this place of fear or to see from a Loving perspective. Quotes from “The Way of Mastery” first 12 lessons

·      Lesson 1 ~ As you as the soul – the individual divine spark – begin to choose to withdraw the attention and the value you have placed upon all things, as you learn to simplify the nature of your own consciousness, as you realize that you can surrender into something that seems beyond you and trust that you can entertain the insane thought of trusting the invisible, you come more and more to be less and less. (pg 3) 

·      Lesson 2 ~ Communication is creation. These tow are one in the same. Therefore, if you would only create well, ask only:

o   What am I committed to communicating?

o   What will my creations express?

o   What will my creations convey to others?

o   For what I seek to convey reveals what I believe is the truth of my Self to the world.

·      Lesson 3 ~ When you judge, you have moved out of alignment with what is true. You have decreed that the innocent are not innocent. And if you would judge another as being without innocence, you have already declared that this is true about you! Therefore, to practice forgiveness actually cultivates the quality of consciousness in which you finally come to forgive yourself. And it is indeed that forgiven who remember their God. (pg26) 

·      Lesson 4 ~ You must find your own way to your truth. For before each and every one of you lies your pathway, a door way and eye of a needle through which only you can fit. Therefore, in some respects you are seemingly alone. You must make the decision to desire – above all things – awakening into perfect remembrance of your own union with God. (pg 42)

·      Lesson 5 ~ The Keys to the Kingdom

o   1^st - Key desire – without it not a thing can arise.

o   2^nd - Key is Intention - Desire in time, is cultivated through intention. Intention means to utilize time each day to focus your attention on the desire to be Christ incarnate.

o   3^rd   - Key is Allowance – Allowance, in this pathway means that you begin to view your life differently. Acceptance of all things in our experience. A quality of awareness in which you rest in the recognition that your life is no longer your own dictate and control. Cultivation of humility and recognize that you must submit to something beyond the intellect and control of the egoic part of the mind.

o   4^th Key is Surrender – As the stages mature, you rest into the final stage of surrender. Surrender the perfect stage of Peace.

·      Lesson 6 ~           “Indeed”, Greetings unto you, beloved and holy friends”

If you understand the meaning of this greeting, if you comprehend the depth of each term used, already you know all there is to know and you are prepared to extend the Love of God forever.

“Indeed means simply that there are no other options.  “Greetings unto you “means salutations to that One Created of the Father before all things, for I bow down before your radiance. “Beloved” and holy Child of God! Indeed, beloved of God. Indeed, Beloved of every molecule in your physical universe. Indeed, loved of your Holy Mother, this precious Earth. Indeed, loved by anything you can imagine that has ever existed or ever could exist that has extended itself from the Heart and Mind of God. You are the beloved pure and simple. And again, there are no options.

“Holy” because you are whole. Not because you have earned that holiness, but because it is that which is the Truth from which you are extended forth forever. Because you are made in the image of God, because you spring forth from the Mind of God, you are holiness itself each time you set aside the temptation to dream a useless dream, and walk this earth as Christ. (pg 70)

·      Lesson 7 ~ I will show you the way to the Truth that is true always and sets you free. But only you can make the decision to bring the whole of your being to that journey. All that requires is that you call a smidgen of willingness. A smidgen of willingness is all it takes. (pg. 90-91)

·      Lesson 8 ~  (pg 97)

o   I am the one who chooses the effects I experience.

o   I, alone, interpret all neutral relationships or experiences.

o   I, alone, place the value upon objects, things, thought, and belief systems.

o   I, alone, am the literal creator of my moment-to moment experience. 

·      Lesson 9 ~ Bring the quality of childlike innocence to what you actually experience, not what you tell everyone else you are experiencing. It is time to become honest with the effects of the ripples of the rocks or the pebbles you have dropped into your field of your awareness as a great form of play. (pg111)

·      Lesson 10 ~ When a child goes through a shift of awareness, they come to a point into their maturation process, not by struggle, not by design, not by much processing, and not by any manner of strategies. The child merely, in an instant, looks at the toys that he has been playing with and simply transcends them. The parents come home and the child has taken the toy truck and out it away in the closet. The doll is put on the window ill and a book is picked up instead. Who makes the change? Not anyone outside the child. When you put aside any negative habit, as you would perceive it to be, when you have given up placing value in something that no longer serves you, you merely transcend it and it is done with. No big deal, no one does it for you, you simply decide. You pull back the value you had placed on it, and the objects that were the symbols no what you were valuing merely drop out of your life. (pg 125

·      Lesson 11 ~  (pg 138)

o   I am loved, I am loving, and I am lovable forever.                                                   

o   This is the Truth that sets you free - I am That I Am.                                                                            

o   My awareness knows no limitation and all the worlds arise within me.                                           

o   I am that mind, present in all beings when they descend the stairway and embrace the        

o   Truth that alone is true always.

o   Here is perfect peace.

o   Here is the recognition that nothing is lacking.

o   Here is the embrace of the fulfillment of the Love I have sought in all the wrong places.

o   Here alone, do I abide.

o   Here alone, do I remain.

o   I am That One, existing before all worlds. This alone is the Truth about me.

o   I Am That I Am.

Remember always that what you see is what you get, in the same way that as you teach, you learn.
