HSA vs HRA

 HSA (Health Savings Account) cannot be set up if you have Medicare. If you already have one you can spend the funds as before but you cannot contribute to it.

Instead what Columbia is offering is an HRA (health retirement Account).

In some of my notes I mistakenly refer to HSA .Just substitute HRA. They are functionally the same except that there is no limit to the contribution by the employer. In addition the retiree cannot put money of their own  in.
