Hi everybody! Hope this email finds you well. Please take a few minutes out of your day to fill this out if you are taking, or have taken a CSER class! FYI: CSER's (the Center for Study of Ethnicity and Race) academic review is a direct product of the strike. This review will help us ensure that CSER's administrative and academic needs are being fulfilled. Please help us by giving us student feedback on what can be improved and/or changes that you would like to see enacted in maintaining a strong and accessible center.
Though the survey targets students in CSER's Comparative Ethnic/ Asian American/ Latino Studies programs, you *do not* have be a major / concentrator to fill one out. Help us out and join us for our DINNER PARTY on Tuesday!
==================================================
Dear CSER students!
Join us for a CSER Matters party on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, from 4-6 pm.
What's the occasion? you may ask. Well, this is one of those few and rare occasions at Columbia where you get to voice your opinion and have it actually count. CSER is undergoing its Academic Review and is currently in its self-study phase. We need you to fill out a (short!) survey about CSER and your classes. As you all know, the field of ethnic studies is constantly evolving, and we would like to be evolving with it. As active participants in the life of CSER, your opinions are vital to keep CSHR current.

Part 2:
Yes, there are two parts, but it really isn't too painful. OR you can also just show up on Tuesday! We will have food, blank surveys, and lots of people willing to talk about what they love (or hate, or think is so-so) about taking ethnic studies classes at Columbia. We know it's review week, but really, campus couldn't be much smaller, so drop by, say hello, stay and chat, or fill out the survey on your daily jog to Butler.
Love,
Christina, Tina, Jamie, Natalie, Aretha
