Meetings?

Hi - I just joined after hearing about this group from the Charlotte
iPhone Developers Meetup group. I'm in Columbia so its nice to have a
local group. Just wondering how often meetings are as I didn't see any
mention of an October meeting.

We meet the third Wed of each month. There was not a Oct meeting because no one showed for the Sept meeting except for myself. I am trying to think of ways to increase membership. We used to have 6 or so people meet a month. If you have any ideas, let me know.

I am also the VP of the Columbia Enterprise Developers Guild, mostly a .Net user group, but most of that group shows no interest in iPhone dev. There is another Refresh Columbia web design user group and they show no interest either. I am thinking of advertising at USC in the engineering building, maybe that might help.

I will schedule a Nov meeting, and if you wanted to meet earlier in Nov, that is fine as well. I will reserve the library room as well.

I actually tried to go to one of the meetings, but couldn't remember which room, and the guys at the information desk didn't have a clue about where you were. Also, Wednesdays conflict with poker night :-)

Second week sounds fine as no conflict with the Charlotte iPhone group that week but please... some day other than Wednesday as everyone else generally picks Wednesday. Just my two euros.

How does Tuesday November 9th from 6-8pm sounds?  I will schedule the room at the library.

We cannot get the same room every month because you can only reserve them 30 days in advance, and you cannot have 2 reservations at the same time.  So, there is a chance the room changes from month to month.  But, I usually try to get the same room if it is available.
