The Team of Goldstein and Dudenhoffer did some more work on the boat this weekend. It is really starting to look like a boat and is almost ready to be taken off the mold. The keel is on. Most of the the gunnels are on. The final layer of cardboard is ~30% done. Let's hope it floats! We are planning to finish the construction this week so we can paint it next weekend.

I must have just missed you guys.  The boys and I were there at 11:00 and hung around until about 11:30.  Sorry to miss it but glad for all the yard work I got done.

We must have just barely missed you. Working on the boat was my way of avoiding yard work today. I hate raking leaves.

Fantastic!
You got a bunch done after we had to leave. Looks great.
I will go there this morning to try to finish up the 4th layer.
Then I hope to try to pull it off the canoe this evening. If anyone can come and help
for an hour this evening let me know. If it is just me and Luc we will probably
try to do it after he is done with school activities. About 5. But if others can come later we could do it a bit later.
If anyone wants to help, let me know what your time constants are.
Dan

"There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody. You built a factory   out there - good for you.

But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of the police forces and the fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn't have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory...

Now look. You built a factory and it turned into something terrific or a great idea - God bless! Keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and you pay forward for the next kid who comes along."
- Elizabeth Warren (Sept. 2011)

Cool, Brad D. said he could make it at 6:30. Can you be there then?
Thanks
