I finally figured out what I would like to cast in aluminum if we ever do it again.
Startrek communicator badge. F yeah!
I'd really love to hollow out the back and put posts for magnets to be glued in, and work out a way to make it into a capacitive touch button with a tiny arduino inside and a way to make noises. Would make an uber nerdy push to talk button for my ham radios too.
