Hey Gadgeteers,

Do you all have any interest in this free filing cabinet for the space? I hacked it to add a peg board on the side and added a hasp to the top drawer to turn that drawer into a safe (just add a padlock!). It has four drawers and most or all of them still have the file folder racks in them. Let me know if you want it. It's definitely not going to Boston with me, so it's going somewhere else very soon.

I want to give things to Gadget Works that make sense and are useful and make sure I don't just dump crap on you that you don't want, so this email is mostly checking to see which side of that fence this item falls on.

Thanks!
Ben

I'm sure we could put it to good use!

Yeah I think it is a good thing to organize parts, and maybe files?
But most likely use it for storing tools and parts...
Thanks Ben

"There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody. You
built a factory out there - good for you.

But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads
the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to
educate. You were safe in your factory because of the police forces
and the fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn't have to
worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your
factory...

Now look. You built a factory and it turned into something terrific or
a great idea - God bless! Keep a big hunk of it. But part of the
underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and you pay
forward for the next kid who comes along."

I dropped off the filing cabinet earlier tonight. It's next to the couch; that seemed like the best place for it for now. My partner should have followed up by bringing the drawers in too, but I don't know if they've made it there yet or not.
