Hi everyone,
We are excited to announce a very special event! Come talk with astronomers about one of the newest telescopes and see the first images from it Monday June 23 10am-noon. Details and mandatory registration link below.

Join your neighbors and NYC-area astronomers to celebrate the US’s newest exploration of the Universe during Rubin’s First Look Watch Party! Using the largest camera ever built, Rubin Observatory will repeatedly scan the sky for 10 years to create an ultra-wide, ultra-high-definition movie of our night sky. It will discover millions of asteroids and exploding stars and billions of new stars and galaxies. These objects will reveal the content of our solar system, structure of our galaxy, and nature of our universe.
Register here to attend. Click the "registration" button at the bottom of the page. Please fill out the form for everyone who is going to join. Each adult must have their own email address. A QR code will be emailed to you immediately after you submit the form. Each adult will need a QR code and an ID in order to get on campus.
