Notice for Cub Scout Meeting on Sunday, 23 July 2023

Dear Cub Scouts, Leaders, and Parents,

 

We will be meeting at MacRitchie Reservoir @ Mushroom Cafe on Sunday, 23 July 2023 for a hike with the Cubs. It has been some time since we went outdoor and it would be a great opportunity to groom their outdoor skills and interest. 

 

Here are the details:

Venue:   MacRitchie Reservoir, Mushroom Cafe

              Lornie Rd

              Singapore 570000

Time:     8:30am to 10:30am 

Attire:    Hiking attire (bring along your gadget pole please x1)

Our Agenda:

1. 8:30am:       Gathering

 

2. Opening:     Scout Promise and Scout Law

3. Activities:     Hike around MacRitchie (Lornie Trail ~4-5km)  + Snack break

4. 10:30am:        Dismissal

Parents are welcome to join in this hike and follow at the back permitting the Cubs to walk in their Six to develop cohesiveness and teamwork.

Items to bring along:

• Filled Water bottle (at least 1litre)
• Raincoat
• Hat
• Insect repellent
• Personal first aid kit
• Snack
• Small bag to put all their personal belongings
