Notice for Cub Scout Meeting on Sunday, 13 August 2023

Dear Cub Scouts, Leaders, and Parents,

 

We will be meeting at Bishan Park McDonalds on Sunday, 13 August 2023 for a Treasure Hunt with the Cubs. It is a fun activity to promote their map reading and navigation skills. As the theme is Treasure Hunt, Cubs are encouraged to come dressed suitable for outdoor with some Pirates-themed items. eg. Pirate hat, mask, shirt, etc.

 

Here are the details:

Venue:   Bishan Park McDonalds

                      1378 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1, Singapore 569981

Time:     8:00am to 10:30am 

Attire:    Outdoor park attire (add some pirate-themed items for some fun!)

Our Agenda:

1. 8:00am:       Gathering & Opening - Scout Promise and Scout Law

3. Activities:     Treasure Hunt  + Snack break (during the Hunt)

4. 10:30am:        Dismissal

The Sixers will lead their Six in this activity to develop leadership, cohesiveness and teamwork.

Items to bring along:

• Filled Water bottle (at least 1litre)
• Raincoat
• Hat
• Insect repellent
• Personal first aid kit
• Snack
• Small bag to put all their personal belongings
