Try as I might I have never found a way to block replicate down or right where one of the items has a fixed cell letter and number. For instance if I want to insert a calculation in to say, C4 ie SUM(a2+b2) and then replicate it down but the cell a2 has always to be there and not changed to a3+b3 and then a4+b4, so I have to go into each cell and change a3+b3 back to a2+b3, a2+b4 and so on. This can be ok for a few changed but today I have to make similar changed to over 150 cells. Help please.

In order to 'fix' a cell reference so that it isn't updated in replication, just precede the cell column and/or row with a $ symbol.

e.g. in your example, I'd use SUM($a$2+b2) so that the first element does not change on replication, but the second one will.
