Before I start to do any further investigation, is anyone else having
problems with editing the Rows or Columns in a spreadsheet?

By this I mean using Menu -> Edit -> Columns or Rows then Add after,
Insert before or Delete.

Sometimes they seem to work, other times they do nothing, or sometimes
just affect one column/row when they should affect several.

I have a vague memory of seeing it reported before, but I can find no
trace. I am not sure when it started, but certainly happened in
2.32.00.

Just to follow up my own question, after considerable rootling I have
found it was my fault!

I have a modified version of Config in Choices:Fireworkz, to change
the Date & Time formats available. However, it was so old that the
Edit Row & Column menus have changed order since, and that must have
caused my weird problems.

So, beware of user-modified Config files!

As Frankie Howerd would have said, "Fiddle ye not."

The Config file ought to be more modular!

But BITD we were trying to limit the number of different files loaded at
startup. Hence all the messages and sprite resources bound into the
image rather than loaded separately, and a !Run that didn't execute !Boot.

It is always a balance between many small files or one big one. But I
also remember when FW had lots of overlays! (from necessity)

My changes stem from a patholigical hatred of dates with two-digit
years, after spending too long coping with Y2k, and the confusion
caused by nasty left-pondian mm-dd-yy mistakes.

I will try to remember to check Config after future updates!

Something I wish were in a config file that I could edit is the default
setting for charts. With every chart I create I alter the margins, fill,
etc, and it would be much easier if the default values were somewhere that
I could alter to suit the settings I invariably use.
