Important Dates in May and Summer Program

Assalamu Alaykum Dearest Parents, 

We would like to inform you of some important dates in May. 

May 5 - May 9 Teacher Appreciation Week

• Monday - Bring a meaningful card for your teacher
  
• Tuesday - Bring a fruit for your teacher
  
• Wednesday - Bring chocolate for your teacher
  
• Thursday - Bring a beautiful pen/pencil for your teacher
  
• Friday -  Bring a flower for your teacher
  
• Please note this is not mandatory, it is just a nice gesture for those who would like to participate.
  

May  19 - Field Trip -We are planning a field trip for the students to Brookfield Zoo from 8:30 AM - 2:40 PM. The fee is $10 per child.  All students are invited including the Beams students. Permission slips will be sent home soon.  More details to follow.

May 26 - No School Memorial Day

May 27- Parent Teacher Conferences 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM - There are no instructional sessions for students on this day. We will be sending e-mails with assigned appointment times.

May 30 - Graduation - More details will follow.

Summer Program - 

• We highly recommend that all of our current Rays, Lanterns, and Beacons students enroll in the summer program.
• Students will be given a summer memorization plan during Parent Teacher conferences. 
  
• Students will be assessed on all that they memorized in the summer in the Fall of 2014 in order to continue their memorization. 
  
• It is advisable that they attend the summer program to aid them in their summer plan, otherwise they may fall behind in the program. 
• We did not open the program to the public in order to focus on our current student base. 
  
• The program is from June 9th to July 11th, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm; with a holiday on July 4th.
  
• The cost is $500 for the entire program and is due by May 19th.  Spots will be limited so please register on the following form and you will receive an invoice.

Fall Program - If you plan on registering in the fall of 2014 we advise you to do so at your earliest convenience as we give priority in seating to our currently enrolled students. It also aids us in planning. Click Here To Register
