Hello,

Thanks for that software! It is great!

One little thing with measuring. After I press CTRL in order to
measure the distance between two points I see that once W or H exceeds
99px (or goes under -9px) the whole line simply disappears.

I tend to believe there is a problem with switching to a three
characters value (-10 and below or 100 and above).

I am using 5.4.5 version on a Vista machine.

I know this problem did not exist in previous versions.

Thanks again!

Very interesting ... especially since I have never used Color Cop for
measuring! I'll have to check out that function.

It is a cool feature! It really saves me the need for another software
like Ruler for Windows or something.

Could you give me an example of how you use it?

And ... I don't see it on the program anywhere ... what am I missing?

Thanks, David!

Hi Layne,

Sure. Simple:

1. Start dragging that cross-hair (or eyedropper) just like you gotta
get a colour code.
2. Drag it to the starting point of the distance you gonna measure.
(click holding the mouse pressed the whole time).
3. Hit CTRL key.
4. Now drag the cross-hair (you are still holding the mouse pressed,
yes?) to the other point of that distance you are measuring.

While in step 4 you will see in the software's status bar the
coordinates relative to the first point (step 3).

Cheers,
David.

Hi all !

If it can help someone, this problem doesn't seem to occur on Windows
XP (SP3), even for 4-digit numbers.

And I totally agree with David, this soft is simply excellent :)

Hello!

I was wondering if this bug had been looked at?  I absolutely love ColorCop.  The measuring tool bug still seems to exist even in the beta version(5.4.6).
