I did a fresh install of Windows 7 (64 bit) (I was running XP before,
and CC ran great), and now the little preview window for the eye
dropper tool is super laggy. It takes a second to update the preview
window when I move the eyedropper.

Any idea why this could be?

I haven't changed any DPI or other settings on this system.

I have Windows 7 Premium 64 bit, and the eyedropper and updates are practically instant.
There's hardly any delay. My computer is overloaded with all sort of garbage, yet Colorcop works speedy and well. No help here, but just let you know that it may not be the overall computer problem or Windows 7. There may be something in your computer that reacts badly with CC.

I have exact the same problem.
I have a new computer and did a fresh install.
The preview window responds EXTREMELY slow while moving the eyedropper.
This is so bad that I had to install another tool to substitute CC.
Can this be solved or do I have to forget about CC?
It is really bad. CC works perfectly in Windows XP (on other computer) and really bad in Windows 7 on a new computer with a clean and limited programs installed

In setting up mouse properties, please make the action of the mouse cursor as simple as it can be. Such as no trailing tails of the mouse or any other fancy cursor formattings.
It seems that the eye-dropper has same or similar setup as the mouse cursor.
