After many years of working flawlessly I have run into a problem on my new laptop. The laptop has a 3200x1800 resolution on a 15" screen, and uses text scaling to make sure everything looks normal. I think color cop only reads the resolution and applies the mouse cursor position to that resolution. But because the screen is scaled, this offset is no longer correct and the pixel color is way of from what it is supposed to be.

Since these super highres monitors are likely to become more mainstream, I wanted to give a heads up to this problem.

Hey , am having the same problem.
I hope it gets fixed because I can't find a good color picker so far!

I wonder if the folks at ColorCop even read these posts. I have the same complaint. I have other programs that read an average by use of a scalable eyedropper box. I can make it as large or as small as I need. I don't think that would be very difficult to do.

I doubt this is read, or cared about anymore. I resized my resolution to be 1920x1080 which also resolved a whole lot of other problems for me in windows HD screen owners will probably be very familiar with. Windows just isnt ready for high density monitors, so as long as they dont get their OS together, I guess I cant play with my 'new' toy
