Members,

The CISOA Board adopted the following policy clarifying the assessor
payment system for national referees, candidates, and applicants. If
you are not a national referee, candidate, or applicant, then you can
safely ignore this policy. This policy does not affect the current
mandatory assessment program and the $70 assessment fee which must be
prepaid each season.

1. Assessors assessing a national referee on an RMAC game will be
compensated $70. A $70 fee will be paid to the assessor by the
chapter. The referee will pay the chapter the $70 in advance of the
season.

2. If any additional assessments are completed on the same referees on
an RMAC game, the assessor will be paid $70. The chapter will pay the
assessor. The referee will reimburse the chapter at the end of the
year, and will be invoiced by the chapter for the fee.

3. Any national referees getting assessed in the state of Colorado on
a non-RMAC game will pay the assessor the national assessment fee of
50% of the game fee up to a max of $100. The chapter will pay the
assessor. The assessor will be responsible to issue an e-mail for the
treasurer, making them aware of the assessment. The treasurer will
issue a check to the assessor, and at the end of the season, the
referees will be invoiced for that fee.

No assessor will receive payment on the field from the referee.

In the event a national referee is assessed outside the state of
Colorado, he or she is responsible to make arrangements with that
assessor for payment. CISOA will not be involved in that payment.
