Denver Area Sail Repair

My Sailworks Retro 4.5's headstrap needs replacing. Sailwork's will do it free but shipping is $65 and double that for return so I'm trying to find a local loft. Larsons' resource is no longer, and apparently Rocky Mtn Boatworks, the North loft in Littleton, is outa biz (disconnected phone). Curious for any leads RMWAers might have. Googling located a guy in Golden, Walter Green as High Performance Sail Repair.

This repair might be a bit delicate in that some amount of the sleeve needs undoing to remove and reattach the strap (you don't just sew a new strap onto the stub of the old).

While it's unlikely I'd use a 4.5 in Padre next month it's a size one ought to have in working order just in case...

My first stop was to Larson's some weeks ago; Karen said they guy they used was no longer.

I take all of my sails to Larson's and whoever does them never fails to do an excellent job on them. 

Plus, if you don't support your local shop, well, then one day you don't have one. :-)

  I did a quick calculation  for FEDEX ground 3 business days 15bucks to Hood River 97031, double that and its still 30, and will be correctly repaired

 this is small enough that you can ship it via the US postal service.

 to me this would ba  no brainier, send it to Sailworks
