Altho I haven't done exhaustive research a new-to-me local sail repair resource seems to have floated up from the deep. By which I mean he is easily googleable, and a Denver area sailing club (as in "boats") recommended him. He is:

Assuming that someone from the sailing congingent at Larson's Ski and Sport is on this list, perhaps it'd be useful for Larson's and Walter to get to know each other to see if they might strike up a relationship...it helps that their shops are only 15 minutes apart (I-70/Kipling <> Golden).
