The BMW i Remote App conveniently links life on the go and life on the road. Using your smartphone, you can control your all-electric BMW i3 remotely and see your vehicle location, range, current battery levels and charging information.
If you're connected to a charging station, you're able to start or end a charging session or take advantage of Time of Use rates using the Charge Control feature. When available, these special rates offer lower energy costs depending on time (usually overnight), varying by region and energy company.
You can also use the app to set preconditioning, automatically ensuring optimal battery conditions and a comfortable cabin prior to your next journey.
The navigation function within the app shows points of interest and nearby charging stations with the option to send them directly to your vehicle.
