Sharing a job opportunity for anyone with background in travel research and evaluation:

Cornell's Sustainable Tourism Asset Management Program (STAMP) at the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise is working with the US Forest Service, to conduct several sustainable tourism assessments in the Northeast region of Puerto Rico’s El Yunque National Forest that combine geospatial planning, sustainable infrastructure analysis, examination of tourism business markets and supply chains, and research on tourism policy and governance. This will result in a series of reports that will be used in subsequent years to guide planning of tourism development in the region.

In 2025, STAMP will run several invite-only Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to engage companies to undertake analyses in support of this work. The following categories of services will be contracted and conducted between December 2024-November 2025:
-Alternative Tourism Business Markets Analysis
-Development of GIS Sustainable Tourism Regional Planning Hub and GIS Baselines
-Sustainable Infrastructure Analysis
-Alternative Tourism Local Supply Chain Analysis
-Tourism Policy and Governance Analysis

STAMP is currently soliciting Expressions of Interest from organizations with experience in nature-based tourism destination management and/or rural tourism development who are interested in being shortlisted for these opportunities. Language competence in English and Spanish is required within proposed project teams.

To be eligible for consideration for any of the RFP's, firms must submit an Expression of Interest. The deadline for submission is Monday, December 9 at 12pmEST. You can learn more and submit your Expression of Interest on the STAMP website: https://business.cornell.edu/centers/sge/programs/sustainable-tourism-asset-management-program-stamp/el-yunque-puerto-rico/
