Hi, COEN!
A friend of mine is doing their dissertation on reciprocity in evaluation. Details are below, and here is a link to her RECIPROCITY IN EVALUATION SURVEY and a  FLYER  to learn more. Please consider taking some time to participate. It was a thought-provoking experience for me.

Best,
Rachael

Hello!

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Christine Liboon and I am a doctoral candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the School of Education and Information Studies.

You have been selected to participate in this 15-minute survey because of your connection to the American Evaluation Association (AEA). As someone engaged in AEA, you bring a unique perspective that would further advance research in evaluation theory and in the field.

I am conducting my dissertation research to further understand the concept of reciprocity in the field of program evaluation, reciprocity in the practice of program evaluators, and the ways that others may have observed reciprocity in action in evaluation work. Your voice matters, and your feedback will play a crucial role in enhancing our practice as evaluators.

Your participation is voluntary. Your contribution will help to provide travel funds for the AEA Student Travel Fund, in which I will give $5 for each completed survey and a total of up to $1,000. The funding will help students attend the annual AEA evaluation conference.

Here is a link to the survey below.
RECIPROCITY IN EVALUATION SURVEY

I can be reached through this email (clib...@g.ucla.edu) or by phone at +1 (424) 322-0142. Also, if you may know of anyone else, such as an evaluation colleague who may be interested in participating in this study and is a member or involved in AEA, please do not hesitate to pass on this message and FLYER along with my information.

Thank you in advance for your time. I look forward to hearing from you very soon!

All the best,

Christine Liboon

If you have concerns about the survey and would like to express them to the AEA leadership, please email in...@eval.org. Any concerns raised will be shared, confidentially, with the Executive Committee of the association. AEA allows its membership list to be used infrequently for research that focuses on the field of evaluation. If you would like to opt-out of AEA's research list, please send an email request to in...@eval.org. Please note that we encourage you to consider remaining on the list as such research strengthens and furthers the field's knowledge base.
