Hi COEN people!
As secretary, I look at the emails that come into COEN's gmail account, and if they look interesting, I forward them to COEN's Google Group. That's why you are getting this. :)

Hello, Crystal Luce.

My name is Dr. Lisette Torres-Gerald, and I am the Project Manager for the Inclusive Voices in Evaluation Publishing (INVitE-Pub) Initiative led by Dr. Sarah Mason and Dr. Bianca Montrosse-Moorhead of New Directions for Evaluation (NDE) journal.

We’re excited to announce the launch of INVitE-Pub, an initiative designed to expand pathways into evaluation publishing and funded by the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation (RWJF). INVitE-Pub connects guest editors and authors—especially first-time contributors and those from historically underrepresented communities—to co-create high-quality, field-shaping NDE special issues.

How you can participate:

  1. Read and Share the Call for Proposals Within Your Networks
Learn how to submit your innovative evaluation ideas to NDE and become a part of the INVitE-Pub initiative by going to our open call for submissions or jump straight to the submission formSubmissions are due November 1, 2025, with the possibility of an extension.

  2. Join the INVitE-Pub Database (3–5 minutes)
Tell us how you’d like to participate, whether as a potential guest editor, author, or both, and share your interests, methods, and values so we can facilitate strong matches. All database participants will receive access to the database to form possible collaborations.

Who should apply?

  • Practitioners, community evaluators, scholars, and students of evaluation

  • First-time or experienced authors and guest editors interested in collaborative, inclusive publishing

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me at lisetteto...@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Lisette Torres-Gerald
