2026 COEN Support Squad – Cohort 5

The Support Squad program is designed to help members build more intentional, meaningful connections with others in the field. Past pairings have included mentors and mentees, peers across different content areas, and evaluators looking to connect over shared experiences.

No specific expertise is required! This is a supportive space to share successes and challenges, find a thought partner, or simply connect with another evaluator.

To foster strong relationships, participants are asked to commit to an 8–9 month partnership beginning in June 2026. Based on previous cohorts, the most successful pairs connected at least once per month. How you structure that time is completely up to you—whether through check-in emails, coffee meetups, virtual chats, or even time outdoors.

Throughout the year, the Communications Committee will host additional opportunities for Support Squad participants to connect beyond their pairs, including in-person and virtual events, and will provide support as needed.
