Dear Dianne
As you may or may not know, CCJRC's office is housed at the Denver Inner City Parish (DICP) Community building. DICP is a phenomenal organization that focuses on improving the quality of life for many low-income families, many of whom are directly involved with the criminal justice system.
Children are the ones who often suffer the most impact from poverty especially at this time of year. So, every year DICP has the "Great Toy Giveaway" for Christmas. Right now they are taking about 150-225+ calls per day inquiring about gifts this year for the children. They are hoping to collect 4,000+ gifts and with faith they believe it will happen. They are serving children ages 0-18. They are in need of gifts for newborn, infants and teenagers. If you can make a toy donation this week please contact DICP.
The toy distribution is this Friday, December 16th at 6am. They will be sorting gifts on Wednesday and Thursday.
