Attached is the JBC Schedule as of 2026-01-06 and covers through January.

The Joint Budget Committee (JBC) is charged with studying the management, operations, programs, and fiscal needs of the agencies and institutions of Colorado state government. Throughout the year, the JBC holds a number of meetings and considers a range of documents to help prepare budget recommendations for the General Assembly. 

The JBC will be meeting tomorrow, January 7th as follows

Wednesday, January 7

Morning Agenda Will be Held in LSB-B

11:30 – 12:00 Hearing for the Parole Board (Justin Brakke)

Afternoon Agenda Will be Held in the JBC Hearing Room
1:30 – 3:00 Hearing for the Department of Public Safety (Division of Criminal Justice) (Justin Brakke)
3:00 – 5:00 Hearing for the Department of Public Safety (Executive Director’s Office/ Colorado State Patrol/ Division of Fire Prevention and Control/ Colorado Bureau of Investigation/
School Safety Resource Center/ Homeland Security and Emergency Management) (Michelle Curry)

Mr. Brakke and Ms. Curry are Legislative Budget & Policy Analysts for the Legislative Services Council of the General assembly.
