Hi, CO-CURE,
We're thrilled to be bringing you Realness Project's first newsletter of 2025! The year is off to an incredible start—there are new programs, events, and partnerships, and we're just getting started! The Realness Project community has been hard at work, planning on how to serve more people and grow our impact. There is so much good news to share. Read more below!

Realness Project is currently delivering programming at the Denver Women's Correctional Facility, The Beacon at Skyline, and the Colorado State Penitentiary.

If you've been following Realness Project for a while, you might be familiar with the Foundations of Relational Leadership (FRL) program that our team designed specifically for Denver Women's Correctional Facility (DW). This condensed training was created to accommodate the tight program schedule with the general population at DW while ensuring Realness Project could still have a presence at this facility.

In January, we were happy to finally launch our seminal program, Relational Leadership Training (RLT) at DW! Dept. of Corrections leadership saw the value of FRL, and invited us to specifically serve RLT to the Therapeutic Community (women with challenges around substance use) at DW. Be on the lookout for some exciting news around data collection and impact research that is happening with this cohort!

Even more exciting news: Realness Project recently kicked off our first Relational Leadership Training Level 2 at Colorado State Penitentiary!
Dozens of men have graduated the RLT 1 program at CSP—we're now training the 8th cohort! Many of these graduates are Assistant Course Leaders in RLT 1 and were eager for next level programming.
In response, RLT 2 was designed for graduates to dig deeper, build stronger connections, and expand leadership potential.

This year, we are also beginning a series of Parties with a Purpose. These intimate gatherings will be hosted in the homes of Realness Project's most dedicated supporters, where community members can come, meet the team and formerly incarcerated graduates, learn about Realness Project, and raise vital funds for our growth and expansion.
These parties will take place all across Colorado, multiple times throughout the year. If you have always wanted to get more involved with Realness Project but haven't known how, hosting a Party with a Purpose is a great place to start.
Our first party will be on the afternoon of Sunday, March 24 in Niwot, Colorado. Reach out to us at in...@realnessproject.org if you would like more details!
