CURE Lifelong has about 150 people who are serving life or long term sentences across the country. The Christmas cards have been signed and addressed, but we have no stamps! As you probably know, Barb and I have no funding and pay from our own pockets for the gas to the parole hearings we attend, the stamps we normally use to answer mail….not 150 letters at a time…and any other expense related matters. This is just something we cannot afford and we feel that our lifers should get a Christmas card-late now because we have been hoping to come up with postage.\If any of you are able to donate some stamps of stamp money, we..and the troops…would really appreciate it! If not, and you are in the same situation that we are, have a great Christmas!

Kathie, I'm about to go get a book for the cause. How can I get them to you?

Okay-two things. I’m clear in Englewood. You could just mail them to me at PO Box 2093 Englewood Co. 80150, or you could drop them off at CMI Dahlia, where one of my LTOP lifers has undertaken the task of writing them out. J
So I can drop off those stamps tomorrow @ dahlia. Who do I take em to?

John Huckleberry. If he isn’t at the halfway house, you can leave them at the desk. He’s part of the Long Term Offenders Program. It’s a red brick building right next to Bud’s Warehouse on the frontage road on the north side of I-70. This is really wonderful. Thanks so much.
