Description: Musician, educator, and success coach Bob Eisenman will share his journey of using music as a powerful mode of expression during and after his incarceration. He will discuss the role music plays in the reentry process, perform some of his favorite songs, and engage in an audience Q&A.
Speaker : Bob Eisenman is an educator, writer, musician, trail runner, and workshop leader whose life and teaching have been shaped in unexpected places. He holds a master’s degree in music from the University of Colorado-Boulder and plays nearly every instrument (even the oboe, though only for a lot of money). Before spending 15½ years incarcerated, Bob was an educator at every level from kindergarten to college. While inside prison, he designed music and writing curricula that inspired creativity and community, becoming known for his humor, energy, and dedication to lifting up others. Since his release, Bob has worked in re-entry and now serves as a Success Coach with FreeWorld.org, helping others build new paths forward. A published author and lifelong educator, Bob continues to inspire audiences to embrace creativity as a tool for transformation. When he isn’t teaching, he can often be found on the trails, running with the modest goal of survival rather than competition. |
